Stringing Up The Lights

This is my annual holiday art. I got the idea back in November but I didn't have the time nor the right pose for the drawing until recently. I finished it late last night but I was too tired to post it until now.

Amusingly I check my email today and saw that Class Comics sent out their holiday card to their email subscribers and I see that Patrick Fillion's character Naked Justice is strung up with Christmas lights as well. I won't debate whose was done first, but I think that his was done better...I still have not gotten to his mastery level yet. Here is the link to Patrick Fillion's BOYTOONS MAGAZINE blog.

Anyway I hope that you like this drawing...and look it has a background.

Feel free to leave me comments or critiques on this work.

Happy Holidays to everyone.

Holiday Edition From the Vault

I am still here...I thought that December would be a calm relaxing month at work, but sadly I was wrong. I have not had the time nor the energy to do much artwork this month, though this is not to say that I don't have any ideas, I just don't have the time. But I am going be able to get quite a bit done when I am on vacation next week.

I do an annual Christmas erotica piece of art and hopefully that will be done in the next week or so. I also have a few others that I am working on, and should be up soon.

In the meantime I am posting some of my older artwork that I have posted on my other sites, but not here.

Keep an eye open for some new things from me in the coming week.

You Got Cock Cannon

This was something that popped into my head after doing the Mega Man fanart. If you don't know about Mega Man games, one of the features is that he gets the powers of the bosses that he beats, e.g. he beats a fire robot he gets a fire based attack. Do to what I can only think of as being bad localization, in Mega Man X when the winning screen comes up it says "You got..." instead of "You've gotten" or even "You have gotten."

So playing off of that mashup of the English language I came up with the title for this piece of art. I have no idea of what sort of boss would give him this sort of power, but you new know where some power like this might come in handy. I had come up with a few more ideas for naming the power that he got, but this one seemed the funniest and most absurd of the powers that Mega Man could get.

The pose is one that I got from one or another Mega Man games, and I think it is perfect for both this erotic re-imagining that I have done and also for showing off the heroicness of Mega Man, especially when he is fully clothed.

This probably will be the last Mega Man themed art that I do for the time being, I have a few other projects that are brewing in my head and I just need to get them down on paper.

I hope that you like what I have done with this venerated video game character.

Late Happy Turkey Day

I forgot to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving, and here it is already three days too late. But like they say, better late then never. So Happy Thanksgiving.

I have not disappeared or anything since the Mega Man drawing. I headed down for a week to spend time with my family and we went on a road trip, I am just getting back to my parent's place now and will be heading back to Houston tomorrow morning, sadly heading straight to work.

I have another drawing that is about 60% completed that I have was not able to complete before leaving for the holidays so that should be completed soon. I have some others that are in the pipeline and will make their way up on here before Christmas time. I may even have some holiday themed drawings.

Mega Man

I normally don't do fan art, but I decided to do a few of them. This is the first.

I have always loved Mega Man ever since I picked up the first game because the box art was so bad that I had to see what the game was like. From then on I was hooked. Sadly I didn't stay with the series throughout the series, when it got on the Game Boy Advance and became almost something like Pokemon I lost interest. Recently there has been some cool character designs and it has gotten my interest back in the series.

I know that fan art that I created was from the GameCube game called Command Mission, that is one of the best armor designs of the series so far, hopefully they come up with some new ones and that the series doesn't fall by the wayside.

I hope that everyone likes my foray into video game fan art. Leave me some comments.

This is my counterpoint to Guardian, the Yang to his Yin, so to speak. There is not much back story to either of these characters as of yet, but there might be...maybe even a short story or two with them. It all depends on what time I have.

You may have noticed that their sword blades are somewhat the same, that is because they come from the same source, though that too is something to be left up to the stories that I come up with.

I attempted to be a little more detailed with this one than Guardian. I wanted to try something different and I think that I succeeded. I do think that maybe the red might have not been the correct color to use for his skin, but I guess that that will have to be something that time will tell. The background is intentionally rather drab...I suck at doing backgrounds especially when I have spent so long working on the main aspect of the drawing, which is the figure in this one. It is one of those things that I need to work on.

As always please leave any comments and critiques on this drawing and email me if you want something custom.

A Few Works from the Vault

I decided to look through my files and found two pieces of art that I had done back in 2005 and I thought that they were fairly good enough to post. I can see that I have made an improvement since then, I hope that others can see it as well.

I see that I have gotten more pageviews recently. I hope that everyone is liking my art so far. Remember if you would like a commission then feel free to email me at aneros.art@gmail.com

Patrick Fillion's Zahn

I have always been a fan of artist that are not afraid to use male erotica as an artform. Patrick Fillion has always been one of those artists and it is my pleasure to have done some fanart of his character Zahn. Patrick has a long roster of characters that traverse his universe and it was hard to pick one over another, but I liked the character design of Zahn, it struck out more so than most and I was instantly drawn to it.

I attempted my new style of Photoshop painting on this one, and I am please with how it came out. I am working hard on getting better at it so that I don't look like so much of an amateur. I think that I have the skin shading down, or more so than the armor of the Guardian and the leather belt and boot of Zahn. I have to really go and see how those different materials are shaded in other comic settings, but also in real life since art mimics real life.

I am hard at work on a drawing to compliment the Guardian character I have and it should be up before the weekend, if not then this weekend.

I would just like to thank Patrick as well for all the kind words he said about my art and the professional critiques that he gave me in an email I sent to him. He really shows how nice of a person he is. So if no one has gone seen his blog or his site then I suggest you make your way over there and check it out.

As always if you like anything here please leave a comment or critique so that I can get better at my art.

I am very proud of this one, took me a lot longer than I thought, several days in fact. I was planning on putting this one as one of my blog exclusive drawings, but I liked it so much that I decided to post it on all my art sites.

This is basically a guardian angel character, I might put him into a story or something later on, but right now I just wanted to do something a bit more fantasy oriented than my usual erotic fare.

I hope that you like it.

I hope that I don't take this long between postings.

Anyway please leave me some comments or critiques.

Hopefully Not Forgotten

This is not the best way to start out a blog by not being able to update it regularly. I have no excuse other than real life comes into play sometimes. I have not been sitting on my ass though, I am working on two drawings at the moment and hopefully will have them posted before the end of the week, if not both then at least one.

On a happier note I just got a promotion at my job and that will make things a bit easier on me than before.

I hope that everyone likes what they see so far. I love to read comments from people so please drop me a line about anything you see here.

Art Trade

Tomas at Tomas Toons was the first person to comment on my blog and as a reward for that I drew something for him. He also drew something for me as an art trade, you can go over to his blog or his Y! site to see it.

This one was a race against time. I had told myself that I would get this completed for Monday, but I got sick and was not able to complete the entire thing on Monday, but I finally got it all finished and posted. I hope that you all enjoy, this was a little experiment for me and I think that it came out well.

Got Lube?

Due to popular demand I am going to post the comic strips that I created at the beginning of the year. Now take into account that these were the first comics that I had ever done. They show that I do have a lot of work to do to get to some place that I can describe as good. I hope that everyone likes them and I am always up for comments on how I can better them, but please make them constructive and not just "I like it" or "It's a piece of shit."

I am working on an art trade that I have going with Tomas of Tomas Toon
Hopefully I can get it up at the beginning of this week, it has turned into a goal for me to have it up Tuesday at the latest and I am going to work my ass off to get it done. It is approximately 45% done.

So stay tuned.

First New Artwork

This is the first exclusive artwork for the blog. This one was something really quick to mainly see what I could do with cell shading. I think that the top guy came out pretty well, but the bottome guy I kind of got tired midway through. I know that this is not my best, but I think that it is good enough to see where I'm at in cell shading. I might post the blank drawing here and let people color it and see who does the best job.

First Blog

Well I have joined the rest of the internet and created a blog. This won't be where I wax poetic about my daily adventures, which are not really adventures at all and are rather boring, but will be mostly to post my artwork and hopefully get some much needed exposure.

If you are coming here from Deviant Art or Y! Gallery, then welcome. It is my intention that I will continue posting things to both of these accounts, but that this blog will have special artwork that I won't post on any other website.

As always, commissions are open and you can contact me about all the specifics at the posted email address.

Thanks again for watching.
