Commission - Athaniar

This was the second commission for my friend. He wanted an erotic demon. Since both he and I are big WoW fans there are a lot of things from that game that I drew from for inspiration. He looks mostly like a blood elf, that is obvious. I used the new Death Knight armor for the basis of the armor that he is wearing. This also was the first drawing where I purposely tried to make his cock larger than most of my other drawings, sort of in the vein of Patrick Fillion and Jockman87

I hope that you all like this one.

You Like?

Someone had brought up a few weeks ago that I had not made a pencil sketch and shading drawing in a long time. I thought about it and realized that they were right. I had not done something worthwhile in just pencil in a while. So I started working on this drawing last week, mostly to try and get back into the groove of things.

I think that this came out very well, though I have some issue with the hands...but they have always been my downfall...I may never get them right, but who knows.

Anyway I hope that you all like it. I really like his abs....

Tyberius

This is an original character named Tyberius. I have a few ideas where I want to put this character, but before I start posting things about those ideas I want to flesh them out more so that I don't start something and then get stuck not finishing it.

I hope that you like.

I am sorry for the delay with this one. I just got power back and am now trying to get everything back to normal here. I was out of power for 14 days...not something that is very fun. But I have quite a bit of things that I worked on while I was gone because there wasn't much else to do.

Hurricane Delay

I'm sorry that I have not been on here in a long time. As most know, Hurricane Ike hit Houston head on last week. I was in one of the majorly hit areas, but I didn't lose my home nor was anything damaged, but I am without power. I have been without power for over a week now and without power there is no internet.

I have stayed off and on at my boyfriend's apartment since he has power, but sadly all of my new art, including the last page of the comic was on my desktop, which is at my apartment with no power...and I don't have anything new on my laptop. According to the power company I probably won't have power until September 25 or later, so I probably won't be posting anything until then.

Weekly Drawings...Fail

Yeah I already failed at my attempt at postinga drawing every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Real life seems to take over mostly the past few weeks. So I doubt that I will get back to the Daily Drawing things. But in it's place I will be posting a comic collaboration with a very talented artist by the name of Jockman87.

Friday Drawing - The Legend of Selda Collab

After posting my Ganondorf piece a fellow artist on Y! Gallery, Jockman87 , brought up the idea that I color one of his pieces. I had been enamored with his Legend of Selda comic for a while and liked his art style. So with that I decided let me try it. So with his blessing I went forward and colored the cover of his comic.

Jockman87 thanks again for letting me color this artwork.

I hope that everyone enjoys.

If anyone has not yet seen his art then please go see it on Y! Gallery and be amazed.

Monday/Wednesday Drawing - Ganondorf

I had posted a drawing yesterday as part of my new drawing schedule, I took it down because it had not been done recently and was something I had in my archives. I wanted a placeholder there until I got this drawing done. This was all done at the same time as I was preparing for a Tropical Storm to hit Houston. Though it was anti-climactic to say the least, I've seen thunderstorms worse than this tropical storm.

This is the culmination of quite a few long hours of work. Since I had the day off because of the storm I spent all day finishing this up. Someone had asked me to draw Ganondorf from The Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time. I had not thought about doing it for a while, but then when I brought this new drawing schedule up I decided that it was just what I needed to do. I have to say that I think that this is one of my best drawings so far. Please leave comments and any constructive criticisms.

As always commissions are open. Send me an email to aneros.art@gmail.com.

Rear View

This was another challenge drawing that I wanted to do to give me a different perspective than what I normally draw. I haven't given this guy a name yet, but I guess that he doesn't need one. Anyway I don't have much to say, I just hope that you like it.

Also in the month of August I will start posting things on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I want to see if I can keep up a drawing schedule.

Gabe - Cel Shaded & Painted

I am trying something new with this drawing. I want to try and get a handle on doing cel shading because I like the way that it comes out in many cases, and how it can speed up the coloring process in regards to "painting." Posted here are the cel shaded version and the "painted" version. I would like people's opinion in the poll that I am posting as well. I also am looking to anyone that watches my blog to send me an email or leave a comment on any that can be improved. If anyone has a tutorial, or any artist that watches my blog and cel shades then any help would be invaluable. I hope that you all like this new line as well. Also added is a slightly different version of the "painted" version. In one I have a heavy black outline and in the other it is colored in so that it matches more of the tones of the drawing. Which do most people prefer?

Aneros Poster Boy

I have wanted to make a poster boy for my blog for a long time. I just never really drew one that I wanted to use for various aspects of the blog, that was until I drew this one. I liked the way that it came out so much that I decided that this is what I wanted to use.

If you notice I now have a custom banner for the blog using parts of the poster boy. I also will be creating ads for the blog so that people can add a link and picture to my blog if they so choose.

I hope that everyone has liked my work so far. I have quite a few things in the pipeline that are not related to this blog or even adult art. These things will have to come first so I don't know how soon I will be able to update the blog or even my other art galleries.

As always, if you would like a custom drawing please email me at aneros.art@gmail.com. Please leave comments so that I can see what I need to work on.

Fan Art - Zero

It has been quite a while since I posted anything. I am in the midst of working on a lot of side projects and commissions. I was looking over my blog the other day and saw that I had set up a poll way back when I first started the blog and it showed that most people wanted to see another Mega Man fan art piece.

Mega Man had been the first and obvious choice in the fan art, but then I got to thinking who was my next favorite character, and Zero was the hands down winner. I took his design from the various games.

I am going to keep this short. I hope that you all like this piece. Please leave comments, I always like seeing what people say about my art, be it good, bad or even indifferent.

New Addition to the Family

I would like to introduce to everyone the latest addition to my family, my new Mac Pro, named Thantos II.

I have been waiting a long time to get this new machine. My old workstation, Thanatos, was getting up there in age. I had built it back in 2003 and by now the hardware was starting to impede my work. I had done several upgrades with the video card and the RAM, but it still was starting to cause me problems.

Ever since getting my MacBook Pro I was intrigued with the Mac OS. I am not a total convert or anything like that, I can see both the good and the bad of both operating systems. I just found that I liked the Mac OS a little more user friendly on me. When I saw that Apple had updated the Mac Pros in January I knew that I wanted to get that machine as my new workstation.

I have had the Mac Pro since the beginning of May and I have to say that I am impressed. The machine has so far not giving me any glitches and it runs fast and quiet, a problem that I have had with Thanatos. I am not joking when I say that Thanatos would sound like a jet engine when it would start and got even louder when I would run any graphics intensive program. It got to a point where I had to wear those big noise cancelling headphones to be able to listen to music on it. With the Mac Pro I have no problems with any of that, I barely know that it's on most of the time.

I have posted a photo of what my current work area looks like. In the photo you can see that Thanatos is still visible and hooked up to a keyboard and to the monitor. I am planning soon on taking out the two 300 GB hard drives and installing them in the Mac Pro. I am also going to get Windows Vista and install it on one of the 300 GB hard drives. I am running Maya and it is the Windows version so I need Windows, as well as for a few other things. I will also throw in another 500 GB hard drive to act as a backup. Once the operation is complete Thanatos will be re-named to something else and used as either a back-up or will be sold for spare parts. The Mac Pro, Thanatos II, will then be known as Thanatos.

I know that this is mostly uninteresting to people that are not into techno-porn like I am. But for those of you that are, this post is for you. I am not planning any sort of massive upgrade with RAID setups or network drives, so this is probably going to be what it is like for a while.

I hope that everyone liked this little glimpse into where I work and produce my work.

Showin' A Little Skin

This drawing/painting was a big departure for me from my normal style.  I wanted to try just sketching and then painting the drawing instead of using the outlines like I have in the past.  I think that it mostly came out good, but there is alway room for more improvement.  I messed up on the hair and decided to just give him a beanie hat instead.  I know that is was a cop out, but what can I say...

The background is as usual just something quick that I did.  I wanted to get this one finished and I really didn't think of a background that I really thought would work with the drawing.

I hope that you all like it.

Astroboy 2.0

I have never been an Astroboy fan, but after coming across a picture of him recently I wondered what he would look like if he was more grown up...or really if he looked sexier. So this is my version of Astroboy, though the better name probably would be Astroman now. I apologize that there is not much of a background, but as you all know, I suck at drawing backgrounds.

I hope that you all like this, and if you would like something more personal then please feel free to email me at aneros.art@gmail.com and we can discuss.

Doggie Style

I did this as a quick drawing with a friend of mine. We both gave each other a reference pic and had basically that night to finish it. Sadlly things didn't turn out like we had originally planned and we both never finished the drawings in time. He finished his a few days later and posted it to his Y! Gallery page.

Well it took a lot longer than I thought and a lot longer than it took to get his done, but here is mine. I am not that happy with it. After I got done with the bottom figure I sort of lost interest in the drawing and it wasn't that much fun for some reason. But since I had started the other figure and there are...parts...of the top guy in the lower one I decided to try and finish it. I never realized how hard it would be to force yourself to draw something that you're just not into anymore. I have had to do that in the past, but that was for either a school project or I was being paid, this was just a personal piece.

But anyway I hope that you like what I have done.

From The Vault - Final Fantasy

Last year and the year before that I started working on some Final Fantasy based fan art.  I have always loved the game series.  I am uploading a few of them now.  Several people have asked me to continue drawing the, but I put them aside to work on my original things.  But here are a few,  hope you enjoy Amarant and Blank.

Troy Sketch

I was installing Mac OSX Leopard the other day and while waiting for it to install and update I did this quick sketch. I want to keep this quick style going, I am planning on this being sort of how I will do the webcomics that I have brewing in the back of my mind. I have several other projects ahead of the webcomic as well as other commissions. But rest assured that it is coming, and will hopefully be better than my first foray into comics.

The one criticism that I have been told several times is that I have a problem with pacing, in that things happened too fast and that there were not enough transitions. In that respects I was trying to keep the comic going, making it easier for me to get them done and posted. I have read a lot of webcomics and they usually follow in a format of a set number of cells and that the entire story is played out over that. Though in most cases those cells are used to get a punchline across while trying to convey part of the overall story arc. My attempt was different, I was attempting a self-contained story that I could crank out fast.

I humbly admit that the end result was not the best of my ability, and I possibly will go back to the two comic story arcs if i can get a comic art style and a process that makes the creation of a webcomic easy enough to integrate it into the normal chaos of my daily life.

I hope that you all like the quick sketch of Troy.

Commission - Beach boys

I wanted to post a recent commission that I completed for a friend of mine. It was something new for me. usually my figures are posed so that you can see them full in front, but my client gave me this idea and I ran with it. I think that it came out really well. I am really proud that I was able to pull it off, especially since I have not done this sort of angle before.

I hope that everyone enjoys this piece. As always if you would like a custom piece of art then please send me an email at aneros.art@gmail.com.

New Blog and Aneros

I have created another blog, EBH Art, that will go hand in hand with this one, though instead of being about adult art, I am posting only my non-adult oriented works, this includes comics, concept art and just about anything else that I can think of. I hope that everyone that likes my art here will give my other one a view, granted at this time there is only one piece of art posted there, a concept piece that I had done years ago, but I have several more pieces that I am preparing for posting.

So as not to just be a text post I have included one of my original concept pieces for the Aneros character that this blog is named after. Aneros was my persona so to speak when I was going through some hard times. He is the Greek god of scorned love and this is my take on the character. I am no longer in the scorned love state so he is not a representation of me anymore, but he is a character that is close to my heart. I am in the process of making an updated version of Aneros so that he can adorn this site, and he will be posted shortly after I have completed some of my commissions.

I hope that you like the concept and that you visit my other blog. As always commissions are always appreciated. Send any and all adult commissions to aneros.art@gmail.com.

I Spot Anime

I would like to brings everyone's attention to my boyfriend's blog, I Spot Anime.

He has already started to bring up the latest Naruto episodes. He does not host them on his blog, but he does give you several links to where you can watch them. He had been doing a great job of keeping things up to date.
He will also be posting Bleach updates as well.

I hope that anyone that likes anime would swing by his blog.

Anti-Heroes Commission

I have been fortunate in that I have gotten several commissions since I started taking them at the beginning of the year. One of them was from JC Ethridge, creator of the Anti-Heroes comic. He commissioned me to draw his three main characters: Caleb, Zeke and Tai. It took me a while to complete them all but I finished them last night and JC was kind enough to let me post them on my blog. He is also posting the commission on his personal blog. I would suggest heading over to either his site or his blog and see his work.

I would like to thank him for letting me draw his characters in my own style.

If anyone would want a personal commission please email me at aneros.art@gmail.com.

The Marine

It's been a while since I posted new art, since Christmas time. For that I apologize. I sometimes get caught up with things and don't find the time to post new art.

I've always liked the look that military people have, it is a sense of confidence and a well toned body that compliments it. But for all that I liked about then I rarely draw them for some reason. But I decided to try this one because I liked the way the pose came out. Adding the hat was just a last minute addition that was actually the reason that it became a marine instead of just anyone with a hat on. I really am happy with the pose and the way that the colors came out on this one.

I am working on commissions now, and if anyone would like a custom piece of art please email me at aneros.art@gmail.com. I am hoping to have several pieces of art to post in the next few weeks since things have calmed down at my day job and I can finally breath. I hope that everyone is enjoying the work that I post here. Feel free to leave me comments on any aspect of the blog.

Two New Links

I've added two new links to the Links section.

Monkey Gogo is a great artist with a unique style and really hot guys.  Go check out his blog.

Anti-Heroes is a series created by the talented artist JC Ethridge.  Most people have probably already seen of his Anti-Heroes comics, but if you haven't you owe it to yourself to go and check it out.

Have fun looking at these two talented artists and don't forget to look at the others in my Links section.

As always the commissions are open, so if you want something custom done please feel free to email me about it.

Commissions Are Open

I am taking commissions now. Prices will start at $10 for a simple sketch and they will go up from there depending on the complexity of the drawing and the amount of figures, as well as other factors. Email me with the specifications of the drawing and I can give a finite total.

I can do digital formats in any size that you would want, but print sizes will only be letter (8.5x11) and legal (8.5x14). I can do a simple pencil sketch or go up to a full color digital painting.

I will only do original artwork, no trademarked material. This means that I can do your originally created character or one of my own creation.

At this time I am only accepting PayPal payments. Payments will be half when the order is placed and the remaining half when the art is delivered.

If anyone is interested in a custom commission please send me an email at aneros.art@gmail.com.
