Aneros Poster Boy

I have wanted to make a poster boy for my blog for a long time. I just never really drew one that I wanted to use for various aspects of the blog, that was until I drew this one. I liked the way that it came out so much that I decided that this is what I wanted to use.

If you notice I now have a custom banner for the blog using parts of the poster boy. I also will be creating ads for the blog so that people can add a link and picture to my blog if they so choose.

I hope that everyone has liked my work so far. I have quite a few things in the pipeline that are not related to this blog or even adult art. These things will have to come first so I don't know how soon I will be able to update the blog or even my other art galleries.

As always, if you would like a custom drawing please email me at aneros.art@gmail.com. Please leave comments so that I can see what I need to work on.

Fan Art - Zero

It has been quite a while since I posted anything. I am in the midst of working on a lot of side projects and commissions. I was looking over my blog the other day and saw that I had set up a poll way back when I first started the blog and it showed that most people wanted to see another Mega Man fan art piece.

Mega Man had been the first and obvious choice in the fan art, but then I got to thinking who was my next favorite character, and Zero was the hands down winner. I took his design from the various games.

I am going to keep this short. I hope that you all like this piece. Please leave comments, I always like seeing what people say about my art, be it good, bad or even indifferent.

New Addition to the Family

I would like to introduce to everyone the latest addition to my family, my new Mac Pro, named Thantos II.

I have been waiting a long time to get this new machine. My old workstation, Thanatos, was getting up there in age. I had built it back in 2003 and by now the hardware was starting to impede my work. I had done several upgrades with the video card and the RAM, but it still was starting to cause me problems.

Ever since getting my MacBook Pro I was intrigued with the Mac OS. I am not a total convert or anything like that, I can see both the good and the bad of both operating systems. I just found that I liked the Mac OS a little more user friendly on me. When I saw that Apple had updated the Mac Pros in January I knew that I wanted to get that machine as my new workstation.

I have had the Mac Pro since the beginning of May and I have to say that I am impressed. The machine has so far not giving me any glitches and it runs fast and quiet, a problem that I have had with Thanatos. I am not joking when I say that Thanatos would sound like a jet engine when it would start and got even louder when I would run any graphics intensive program. It got to a point where I had to wear those big noise cancelling headphones to be able to listen to music on it. With the Mac Pro I have no problems with any of that, I barely know that it's on most of the time.

I have posted a photo of what my current work area looks like. In the photo you can see that Thanatos is still visible and hooked up to a keyboard and to the monitor. I am planning soon on taking out the two 300 GB hard drives and installing them in the Mac Pro. I am also going to get Windows Vista and install it on one of the 300 GB hard drives. I am running Maya and it is the Windows version so I need Windows, as well as for a few other things. I will also throw in another 500 GB hard drive to act as a backup. Once the operation is complete Thanatos will be re-named to something else and used as either a back-up or will be sold for spare parts. The Mac Pro, Thanatos II, will then be known as Thanatos.

I know that this is mostly uninteresting to people that are not into techno-porn like I am. But for those of you that are, this post is for you. I am not planning any sort of massive upgrade with RAID setups or network drives, so this is probably going to be what it is like for a while.

I hope that everyone liked this little glimpse into where I work and produce my work.
